Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa or how long it will take to process your application, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Belgium in Islamabad.
Please visit the “Schengen Visa” or “Long Term Visa” links for more information on the various visa types.
Register online at https://visaonweb.diplomatie.be and complete your online visa application (handwritten application forms will not be accepted). Bring a printout of the application form that is emailed to you when you have finished. Further information on this process can be found on the website of the Embassy of Belgium.
Please ensure that you furnish all the required documents. The document checklist and requirements can be viewed from this website at the specific visa sub-categories.
Book an appointment to visit the visa application centre, You can do this online on this website using the ‘Schedule an Appointment’ link, or you can call our helpline on 0900 07860 (landline), 9999 (from a mobile). You can also choose to visit the visa application centre without an appointment but please note that you may face a delay if you do so.
Attend a visa application in person to submit your application and the required documents, to pay the visa fee and VFS service fees, and to provide your biometrics. If you have booked an appointment you must carry a printout of your appointment letter.
Once your application has been successfully submitted, VFS shall issue you a payment receipt with your application reference number and details.
Collect your passport and documents from the Visa Application Centre once you have been notified that your application has been processed and has been returned from the Embassy.
